About Revive Hockey

Ryan Donahue and the Revive Hockey team at the ice rink

Built by a hockey player who wanted more for his money

I started playing hockey when I was six years old and have played consistently for more than 30 years. Today, I am still on the ice playing men’s league hockey and putting my equipment through the same faceoffs, contested shots, and hard play as the customers I serve.

I grew up in a blue-collar household, so I have always looked for real value in the things I buy. When one-piece composite sticks arrived, their performance improved dramatically, but retail prices began rising much faster than the performance. Like many players, I could not justify spending top-of-the-line money on a stick that could break during any shift. It is hard to play confidently when every faceoff feels like you are risking a car payment.

That is why I started Revive Hockey.

Why I chose the RH1

Before selecting the RH1, I personally sampled sticks from multiple manufacturers. I chose this construction because it delivers the lightweight, balanced feel I expect from a high-end stick.

Blade stiffness was especially important to me. A soft or flimsy blade can make the puck feel disconnected. The RH1’s stiff blade gives me better puck feel and more confidence when shooting.

A small business with a straightforward promise

Revive is a Colorado-based small business that I personally run. I am also a husband, father, and lifelong hockey player. I play with the same sticks I sell, and I will not offer equipment that I would not confidently use myself.

My goal is simple: deliver high-end performance, dependable specifications, and honest value without the unnecessary markup. Revive sticks are built for real hockey players who want to play their game without worrying about the price of every slash, faceoff, or contested shot.

High-end feel. Honest value. Built for real hockey.
